As the global transition toward clean energy accelerates, businesses are increasingly seeking high-quality renewable energy solutions that not only support carbon reduction but also strengthen their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments. In this journey, EKOenergy has become one of the world’s most recognized ecolabels for renewable electricity, providing an additional level of credibility, transparency, and environmental impact beyond conventional renewable energy certificates.
GreenUP is proud to be an Authorised Supplier Partner of EKOenergy, bringing premium EKOenergy-labelled I-RECs from Vietnam’s renewable energy projects to both domestic and international markets.
What is EKOenergy?
EKOenergy is a global non-profit ecolabel for renewable energy, recognized and trusted by companies, public organizations, and institutions around the world. Unlike conventional renewable energy certificates, EKOenergy-labelled certificates must comply with additional sustainability criteria and contribute to climate action initiatives through the EKOenergy Climate Fund.
Choosing EKOenergy means that businesses are not only purchasing renewable electricity attributes, but also supporting broader environmental protection and accelerating the global transition to clean energy.
As sustainability expectations continue to rise, many multinational corporations and organizations with ambitious ESG, RE100, and Net Zero commitments increasingly seek high-quality renewable energy certificates, including EKOenergy-labelled solutions, as part of their renewable electricity procurement strategies.
